Please support your local Tidy Wales Week event at Saron Graveyard, Troedyrhiw

Once again this September Keep Wales Tidy are calling on the people of Wales to take part in a nationwide cleanup in our towns, villages and the countryside.

In Troedyrhiw, Friends of Saron will be holding their Autumn Volunteer Day as part of this national effort. We would welcome the support of all current and any new volunteers at this event. Arrangements are as follows:-

Date and time: Saturday 20th September, 10.00am

Place: Saron Graveyard, Chapel Street, Troedyrhiw

Be a Friends of Saron volunteer

Please dress appropriately and, if possible, bring some standard garden tools with you. Refreshments in the form of hot drinks and biscuits will be provided.

We regret that, at this stage, we can only accept the help of adults who are willing to work at their own risk

About davidjcollier

Originally from South Wales I have lived in Nottinghamshire for over forty years. I am married and have three grown up children and two grandchildren. Having worked in education for 43 years I will retire in July 2012. My interests include history (general, local and family), rugby union, swimming, photography, bird watching and gardening. For the benefit of anyone who may actually read this (extremely unlikely, I admit) please do not confuse 'interests' with knowledge or skill. My involvement in a community project which aims to rescue a graveyard from the effects of almost 30 years of neglect. also keeps me quite busy. View all posts by davidjcollier
