Friends of Saron  are pleased to announce that we have begun to contribute items to this important website which ‘provides new ways of collecting, discovering and sharing the stories of Wales and its people’.

The People’s Collection Wales digital heritage programme is delivered by a partnership of national cultural and heritage bodies. The lead delivery partners are:

  • Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales
  • National Library of Wales
  • Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales.

Having worked in education for 43 years I will retire in July 2012. My interests include history (general, local and family), rugby union, swimming, photography, bird watching and gardening.
