Want to get involved in tidying up our community in Troedyrhiw?

Wales is beautiful and we are proud of it, but unfortunately there are still areas that need some help. The annual Be Tidy campaign run by Keep Wales Tidy is a great opportunity for people of all ages to volunteer, get together and work together to help keep their community tidy. Friends of Saron will, this year, be hosting a Be Tidy event in Troedyrhiw and we are sure that residents will wish to give this their support. If you are interested in becoming involved please get in touch with us at friendsofsaron@gmail.com or on 01623477141 so that we can arrange to make this  the very successful day that it deserves to be.

About davidjcollier

Originally from South Wales I have lived in Nottinghamshire for over forty years. I am married and have three grown up children and two grandchildren. Having worked in education for 43 years I will retire in July 2012. My interests include history (general, local and family), rugby union, swimming, photography, bird watching and gardening. For the benefit of anyone who may actually read this (extremely unlikely, I admit) please do not confuse 'interests' with knowledge or skill. My involvement in a community project which aims to rescue a graveyard from the effects of almost 30 years of neglect. also keeps me quite busy. View all posts by davidjcollier
