Heritage Trust

Please put this date and event in your diary:-

Date: Sat 13 Aug 2016
Time: 11:00am
Place: Saron Graveyard, Chapel Street, Troedyrhiw

This project has no religious or other affiliations but we strongly believe that the graveyard is a special place which is an important part of the historic fabric of our village and a community asset.

Please come along on this day to give us your support. Our volunteers will be working in the graveyard and you will be welcome, at your own risk, to take a look around to see what we have been doing and discuss the project vision with us. You should realise that this is very much a ‘work in progress’.

Please tell anyone you know who might be interested in this event about it and encourage them to attend.

We hope very much to see you on 13th August.

About davidjcollier

Originally from South Wales I have lived in Nottinghamshire for over forty years. I am married and have three grown up children and two grandchildren. Having worked in education for 43 years I will retire in July 2012. My interests include history (general, local and family), rugby union, swimming, photography, bird watching and gardening. For the benefit of anyone who may actually read this (extremely unlikely, I admit) please do not confuse 'interests' with knowledge or skill. My involvement in a community project which aims to rescue a graveyard from the effects of almost 30 years of neglect. also keeps me quite busy. View all posts by davidjcollier
